"Support took forever and didn’t really help"
I reached out to support hoping they’d actually help me sort things out, but it was disappointing. The replies took a long time, and when they finally got back to me, it felt like they weren’t really listening or giving me anything useful. i’ve had better help from… well, you get the idea.

"RAW files were a bit rough for me"
Maybe I’m just being picky, or maybe I didn’t spend enough time tweaking the settings, but the RAW files looked a little rough to me. The colors felt kind of off, and the details weren’t as clean as I was expecting.
"I tried out a bunch of the..."
I tried out a bunch of the presets and effects, most of them came off either too harsh or kind of repetitive. A few were decent, but then you end up spending extra time tweaking them, and at that point you wonder if it’s even worth it. I expected a little more from ON1.

"Maybe my laptop just isn't up to the..."
Maybe my laptop just isn't up to the task, but processing my photos takes forever. From the way it runs, I’m guessing it’s resource-heavy, so it gets frustrating when I’m just trying to make quick edits.

"Honestly, I found it confusing to use"
I really wanted to like on1.com, but I just couldn’t get comfortable with it. The whole layout felt a little scattered to me, like the menus and tools weren’t where I expected them to be, so I kept clicking around trying to find basic things. And I don’t mean advanced editing features or anything complicated, even simple stuff felt like it took more steps than it should have. I ended up spending more time figuring out where everything was than actually editing my photos, which got frustrating quickly. Maybe if you already know the program or have used it for a while, it makes more sense, but as someone trying to jump in and use it, it just felt harder than it needed to be. After a while I got annoyed and gave up.
"I tried using ON1 with my normal..."
I tried using ON1 with my normal editing workflow, and it turned into a bit of a headache. Some plugins wouldn’t load properly, moving files between apps felt clunky, and every update seemed to fix one thing while messing up something else. To make it more confusing, the emails would say one thing about what was supported or updated, but then the actual app felt like it was doing another. After spending way too much time trying to make it work, I just gave up.
"I get that updates are supposed to improve..."
I get that updates are supposed to improve things, and sometimes they do help. But lately they feel way too frequent, and half the time I’m not even sure they were worth the hassle. It’s just a bit mentally draining when you’re trying to use something and there’s always another update in the way

"Pretty good deal, even if I usually stick with another brand"
I’ll be honest, I normally stick with my go-to brand, so I wasn’t totally sure about trying this one. But for the price, it did what I needed and felt like a fair deal. I’m not saying I’m fully switching brands yet, but I’m glad I gave it a shot

"I expected more from these AI tools"
I’ve tried a few of these AI tools, they’ve been underwhelming. I guess I was assuming they’d pick up on patterns and figure things out better, but most of the time the answers feel kind of basic and not very smart.

"Feels like ON1 just can’t keep up"
I only tried using ON1 for some basic photo edits, but it was surprisingly slow the whole time. The brushes would freeze, previews took ages to load, and a couple times it crashed before I could even save. My laptop handles other editing apps just fine, so it kind of feels like the problem is on ON1’s end. it got frustrating fast and just wasn’t worth the time for me.

"Beginner tutorials really need work"
I was hoping for clear, easy-to-follow beginner lessons, but it’s been frustrating trying to find anything that explains the basics well. For something I paid for, I expected a lot better, and I’d appreciate some kind of compensation or credit for the hassle.

"Great tools, but the crashes make it hard to recommend"
I really wanted ON1 to work out because it has a lot of features I was excited to try, but on my computer it’s been frustrating. It’ll freeze when I’m opening photos, and other times it just closes in the middle of editing without much warning.
I tried the usual fixes like updating drivers and reinstalling the program, but the crashes kept happening. I’ve already lost a few edits because things didn’t save properly, so if you’re using it, I’d definitely suggest saving often and maybe testing it on a few non-important projects first.
For paid software, I expected it to be more stable. The fancy editing tools don’t matter much if the program can’t stay open, so my advice to others would be to make sure it runs well on your setup before fully committing to it
